Regular Season Round 4: Partizan NIS - ASVEL 78-89
Date: October 23, 2018
Not a big story in a game in Beograd where 5th ranked Serbian Partizan (1-3) was defeated by second ranked French ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (3-1) 89-78 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Partizan was better in fourth quarter 24-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. DR Congolese-French Charles Kahudi (199-86) fired 21 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Loser Partizan dropped to the bottom place with three games lost. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket will face league's second-placed Zenit in Sankt Petersburg in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Partizan will play on the road against Turk Telekom (#5) in Ankara and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
