There was a small surprise in Trento where sixth ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (1-3) beat one of their biggest challengers Italian Dolomiti En. TR (1-3) 81-77 on Tuesday. Dolomiti En. TR was trailing by 1 point at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 28-23 charge of Turk Telekom, which allowed them to win the game. American point guard TJ Campbell (175-88, college: Portland) fired 23 points and 5 assists for the winners. American-Israeli swingman Sylven Landesberg (198-90, college: Virginia, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 16 points and 5 assists. Turk Telekom's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American power forward Dustin Hogue (198-92, college: Iowa St.) produced 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Diego Flaccadori (194-96) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Turk Telekom left bottom position moving up to fourth place in Group C, which they share with Partizan NIS and Dolomiti En. TR. It was Dolomiti En. TR's third loss in a row. Turk Telekom will face bottom-ranked Partizan (#6) in Beograd in the next round. Dolomiti En. TR will play on the road against the league's leader Valencia Basket and hope to win that game.
