Regular Season Round 4: Limoges - Tofas 89-81

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fourth ranked French Limoges CSP Elite and 5th ranked Turkish Tofas had identical 1-2 record. This time Limoges CSP Elite used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Bursa 89-81 on Tuesday night. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 11-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-81. Limoges CSP Elite looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Isaiah Miles (201-94, college: St.Joseph's) fired 23 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from downtown making all six shots !!!) for the winners. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Limoges CSP Elite's coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American guard Diante Garrett (193-88, college: Iowa St.) produced 19 points and 6 rebounds and Cameroonian forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL) added 17 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Limoges CSP Elite (2-2) moved-up to third place in Group B. Loser Tofas keep the fifth position with three games lost. Limoges CSP Elite will face bottom-ranked Asseco Arka (#6) in Gdynia in the next round. Tofas will play at home against Cedevita and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
