Argon Uni Girona used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Gernika 80-57 on Wednesday night. The game without a history. Argon Uni Girona led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Argon Uni Girona outrebounded Gernika 42-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. Quite impressive performance for Brazilian center Nadia Colhado (193-89, agency: ProDep Management) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 9 rebounds. Gernika's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Argon Uni Girona will face Uniao Sportiva (#4) in Ponta Delgada in the next round. Gernika will play at home against UNI Gyor and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
