Regular Season Round 5: Valencia - Dolomiti En. TR 87-66

There was no surprise when 4th placed Italian Dolomiti En. TR (1-4) was outleveled on the road by first ranked Spanish Valencia Basket (4-1) 87-66 on Tuesday. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 8-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 87-66. Valencia Basket made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Valencia Basket had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American-Georgian Will Thomas (203-86, agency: Two Points) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Montenegrin power forward Bojan Dubljevic (205-91, agency: BeoBasket) contributed with 15 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Four Valencia Basket players scored in double figures. Valencia Basket will face league's second-placed ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Dolomiti En. TR will play against Partizan in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
