Very important is a road loss of third ranked French Limoges CSP Elite (2-3) against sixth ranked Polish Asseco Arka (1-4) on Wednesday night. Visiting Limoges CSP Elite was defeated by Asseco Arka in a tough game in Gdynia 78-87. Limoges CSP Elite trailed by 17 points after 3 quarters before a 26-18 run in the last quarter cut the deficit to 78-87 at the end of the game. American center Robert Upshaw (213-94, college: Washington) orchestrated the victory by scoring 15 points and 7 rebounds. His fellow American import swingman Josh Bostic (196-87, college: Findlay, OH) contributed with 16 points for the winners. Asseco Arka's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Jamaican power forward Samardo Samuels (206-89, college: Louisville) answered with 20 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Jonathan Rousselle (188-90) added 15 points and 7 assists in the effort for Limoges CSP Elite. Five Limoges CSP Elite players scored in double figures. Asseco Arka maintains sixth place in Group B with 1-4 record. Loser Limoges CSP Elite keeps the third position with three games lost. Asseco Arka will face league's second-placed Lokomotiv in Krasnodar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Limoges CSP Elite will play on the road against Cedevita in Zagreb and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
