There was a minor upset in Ankara where Russian Enisey Krasnoyarsk (1-1) was defeated by Turkish Ormanspor (1-1) 82-74 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 25-14 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Ormanspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American forward Kahleah Copper (185-94, college: Rutgers, agency: LBM Management) scored 24 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA, agency: FlyBasketball) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists during the contest. Enisey Krasnoyarsk's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Ormanspor will face Sf.Gheorghe (#3) in Sfantu Gheorghe in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play at home against Mersin BSB and hope to win that game.
