Beroe used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Umea 68-67 on Thursday night. The hosts trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 14-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-67. Montenegrin center Ana Pocek (190-93, agency: ProDep Management) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American center Breanna Lewis (196-94, college: Kansas St.) chipped in 12 points and 16 rebounds during the contest.
