Regular Season Round 6: Andorra - Galatasaray 95-87

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Spanish Andorra and one of their biggest challengers Turkish Galatasaray had identical 2-3 record. This time Andorra used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Istanbul 95-87 on Wednesday night. Andorra made 28-of-33 free shots (84.8 percent) during the game. Galatasaray was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Senegalese-Spanish center Moussa Diagne (211-94, agency: Interperformances) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. Diagne is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. The best for the losing side was American Aaron Harrison (198-94, college: Kentucky) with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and his fellow American import forward Nigel Hayes (203-94, college: Wisconsin) scored 20 points. Five Andorra and four Galatasaray players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra (3-3) moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Ratiopharm. Galatasaray lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. Andorra will face bottom-ranked Germani BR (#6) in Brescia in the next round. Galatasaray will play at home against ratiopharm Ulm and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
