Regular Season Round 7: Germani BR - Andorra 73-79

There was no surprise in Brescia where 6th ranked Italian Germani BR (2-5) was defeated by third ranked Spanish Andorra (4-3) 79-73 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-73. Germani BR was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Serbian power forward Oliver Stevic (204-84, agency: BeoBasket) fired 16 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for the winners. Canadian-Jamaican point guard Dylan Ennis (187-91, college: Oregon, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 9 points and 7 rebounds. Awudu Abass (199-93, agency: Players Group) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and American forward Jordan Hamilton (201-90, college: Texas) added 13 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Andorra moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Crvena Zvezda. Loser Germani BR stay at the bottom position with five games lost. Andorra will face league's second-placed Crvena Zvezda in Beograd in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Germani BR will play at home against Galatasaray (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
