Regular Season Round 5: Enisey - OGM Orman 84-63

There was a change at the Eurocup leadership position after last games. Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Turkish Ormanspor (3-1). They were crushed by second ranked Russian Enisey Krasnoyarsk (3-1) 84-63 on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Ormanspor. It was a key game for the top position in Group D. The game without a history. Enisey Krasnoyarsk led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. American forward Stephanie Mavunga (190-95, college: Ohio St., agency: LBM Management) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and her fellow American import forward Myisha Hines-Allen (188-96, college: Louisville) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds. Enisey Krasnoyarsk's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Rebekah Gardner (185-90, college: UCLA, agency: FlyBasketball) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Enisey Krasnoyarsk have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of Group D leader, which they share with OGM Orman. Ormanspor will play next round against strong Sf.Gheorghe trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will try to continue on its current victory against fourth ranked Mersin BSB on the road.
