There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Greek Niki Lefkadas (0-6) were crushed on the road by ninth ranked Polish Energa Torun (4-2) 95-48 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Energa Torun led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Niki Lefkadas to just 7 points in first quarter. Energa Torun dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Niki Lefkadas' 16. Energa Torun forced 20 Niki Lefkadas turnovers and outrebounded them 44-22 including a 33-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Energa Torun shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Niki Lefkadas' players.
