Regular Season Round 3: Buducnost - Asseco Arka 59-62

There was no surprise in Podgorica where Montenegrin Buducnost (0-3) was edged by Polish Asseco Arka (2-1) 62-59 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 11 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 3 points. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was guard Ben Emelogu (196-94, college: SMU) who scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. Swingman Josh Bostic (196-87, college: Findlay, OH) chipped in 19 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Hassan Martin (201-95, college: URI) who recorded a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds and guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively. Buducnost's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Asseco Arka will face Trento (#4) on the road in the next round. Buducnost will play against Galatasaray in Istanbul and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
