Rather predictable result when Italian Brescia (2-1) beat at home Slovenian Cedevita Olimpija (0-3) 78-71 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back and won the game by 7 points. The best player for the winners was American guard DeAndre Lansdowne (188-89, college: Fort Lewis, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 16 points. His fellow American import forward Kenneth Horton (201-89, college: CCSU) chipped in 9 points and 8 rebounds. Brescia's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (193-94, college: Wake Forest) who recorded 21 points and Jaka Blazic (196-90) added 18 points respectively. Brescia will face Darussafaka in Istanbul in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
