Regular Season Round 2: KP Brno - Botas 63-88

Rather expected game when Czech KP Brno (0-2) was crushed at home by Turkish Botas (2-0) 88-63 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Botas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to KP Brno's 28. Botas looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. American guard Kelsey Mitchell (173-95, college: Ohio St.) scored 33 points (!!!) to lead the charge for the winners and British-Nigerian forward Temi Fagbenle (193-92, college: USC) chipped in 14 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Four Botas players scored in double figures. Guard Michaela Stara (175-90) responded with 19 points and point guard Gabriela Andelova (173-96) scored 8 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. KP Brno's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Botas will face AZS Gorzow (#3) in Gorzow Wlkp. in the next round, which may be the game of the day. KP Brno will play on the road against Ramla and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
