Regular Season Round 6: CCC Polkowice - A3 Basket 83-70

No shocking result in a game when second ranked Polish CCC Polkowice (4-2) defeated at home 4th ranked Swedish A3 Basket (0-6) 83-70 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by CCC Polkowice. A3 Basket was better in fourth quarter 19-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. CCC Polkowice dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to A3 Basket's 40. They outrebounded A3 Basket 37-26 including 25 on the defensive glass. CCC Polkowice looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American guard Danielle Robinson (178-89, college: Oklahoma) who scored 18 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Point guard Weronika Gajda (174-89) chipped in 16 points, 6 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who recorded 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Serbian guard Tamara Radocaj (168-87, agency: Interperformances) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively. Five CCC Polkowice and four A3 Basket players scored in double figures. A3 Basket's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending Polish champion maintains second position in Group C with 4-2 record having just seven point less than leader Spartak N., which they share with Roche. Defending Swedish champion A3 Basket still closes the standings with six games lost.
