Regular Season Round 6: Keltern - Atomeromu 63-90

Everything went according to plan when first ranked Hungarian Atomeromu (5-1) outleveled on the road 3rd ranked German Gruner Stern Keltern (2-4) 90-63 on Thursday. The game without a history. Atomeromu led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Gruner Stern Keltern's 32 and made 18-of-19 free shots (94.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Gruner Stern Keltern 40-26 including 28 on the defensive glass. Atomeromu looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Slovakian center Marie Ruzickova (190-86, agency: LBM Management) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. American forward Erica McCall (190-95, college: Stanford) chipped in 21 points and 7 rebounds (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Four Atomeromu players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Brittany Brown (173-95, college: FSU) who recorded 15 points and her fellow American import point guard Jasmine Thomas (175-91, college: Michigan St.) added 16 points respectively. Atomeromu maintains first position in Group I with 5-1 record, which they share with Flammes. Loser Gruner Stern Keltern keeps the third place with four games lost.
