Regular Season Round 6: Sparta&K MR - MBA 80-60

One of the most interesting games of round 6 was a derby match between two teams from Russia. Second ranked Spartak Vidnoye outleveled visiting MBA (5-1) 80-60. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Group B. The game was mostly controlled by Spartak Vidnoye. MBA was better in fourth quarter 20-8. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for Spartak Vidnoye especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.0 percentage. American guard Paris Kea (175, college: UNC, agency: LBM Management) notched 20 points to lead the effort and forward Daria Kurilchuk (179-98, agency: LBM Management) supported her with 17 points. Even a double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds by center Anastasia Logunova (192-90, agency: LBM Management) did not help to save the game for MBA. Varvara Psareva (192-85) added 9 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players saving starting five for next games. Spartak Vidnoye maintains second position in Group B with 4-2 record having just seven point less than leader Spartak N., which they share with Roche. MBA at the other side still keeps top place with one game lost.
