Regular Season Round 9: Joventut - Unics 90-73

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of Russian Unics Kazan (5-4) in Badalona on Wednesday night. Visitors were defeated by Spanish Joventut (5-4) 90-73. It was a key game for the top position in Group C. The hosts trailed by 3 points at the halftime before their 46-26 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. Joventut made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Unics Kazan will play against the league's leader Darussafaka (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
