Regular Season Round 10: Tofas - Lokomotiv 92-90

Important game to mention about took place in Bursa. Fourth ranked Turkish Tofas (5-5) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 5th ranked Russian Lokomotiv (4-6) 92-90 on Tuesday evening. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 92-90. Strangely Lokomotiv outrebounded Tofas 38-23 including 25 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Tofas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.1 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American players dominated the game. It was a very good performance for Sammy Mejia (199-83, college: DePaul) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 4 assists. Center Devin Williams (206-94, college: WVU) contributed with 13 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Sam Dekker (204-94, college: Wisconsin) replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and center Alan Williams (202-93, college: UCSB) added 9 points and 13 rebounds in the effort for Lokomotiv. Five Tofas and four Lokomotiv players scored in double figures. Lokomotiv's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tofas moved-up to third place in Group B, which they share with Trento. Loser Lokomotiv keeps the fifth position with six games lost.
