Regular Season Round 10: Cedevita Olimpija - Joventut 103-81

There was an upset when much higher ranked Spanish Joventut (5-5) was outscored by bottom-ranked Slovenian Cedevita Olimpija (4-6) in Ljubljana 103-81 on Wednesday. The hosts trailed by 2 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 13-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 103-81. Cedevita Olimpija shot 61.9 percent from the field. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Quite impressive performance for Jaka Blazic (196-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. American guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (193-94, college: Wake Forest) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 11 assists for the winners. Four Cedevita Olimpija players scored in double figures. American forward Perrin Buford (198-94, college: MTSU) replied with 14 points and North Macedonian point guard Nenad Dimitrijevic (186-98) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Joventut. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cedevita Olimpija maintains sixth position in Group C with 4-6 record. Loser Joventut dropped to the fourth place with five games lost.
