Regular Season Round 1: Bahcesehir - Bourg 82-99

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Turkish Acibadem in Istanbul. Hosts were defeated by French JL Bourg 99-82. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. Acibadem was better in fourth quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. JL Bourg shot 60.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three nailing 15 long-distance shots on high 62.5 percentage. JL Bourg players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Acibadem's players. Serbian guard Danilo Andjusic (194-91) nailed 22 points and 7 assists for the winning side and American center Zachery Peacock (203-87, college: Georgia Tech) accounted for 20 points. American guard Erick Green (190-91, college: Virginia Tech, agency: Octagon Europe) came up with 23 points and the other American import forward Jamal Jones (203-93, college: Texas A&M, agency: Network Sports International) added 17 points respectively for Acibadem in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. JL Bourg will play against Joventut in Badalona in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Acibadem will play on the road against Unics Kazan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
