Important game to mention about took place in Brescia. Italian Brescia saved a 3-point victory at home edging German ratiopharm Ulm 87-84 in the fight for the second place. Brescia dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to ratiopharm Ulm's 28. They outrebounded ratiopharm Ulm 45-33 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern) who scored 9 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. American-Israeli TJ Cline (206-94, college: Richmond) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. American-German center Dylan Osetkowski (206-96, college: Texas) produced 18 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Troy Caupain (193-95, college: Cincinnati) added 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Four Brescia and five ratiopharm Ulm players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game.
