Regular Season Round 3: Unicaja - Buducnost 91-87

First defeat of Montenegrin Buducnost (2-1) against Spanish Unicaja Malaga (2-1) 91-87 was the most important game of the last round. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 29-23 charge, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for guard Francisco Alonso (193-96, college: UNCG) who led his team to a victory with 21 points. Polish forward Adam Waczynski (199-89) contributed with 15 points for the winners. American guard Justin Cobbs (191-91, college: California, agency: BeoBasket) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 assists and guard Nikola Ivanovic (190-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 21 points in the effort for Buducnost. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Buducnost will play next round against ratiopharm Ulm trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Unicaja Malaga will try to continue on its current victory against Brescia at home.
