Regular Season Round 7: Ulm - Brescia 88-76

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 6th ranked Italian Brescia's (1-5) road loss to fifth ranked German ratiopharm Ulm (3-4) 76-88 on Tuesday. The game was mostly controlled by ratiopharm Ulm. Brescia was better in third quarter 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 22-of-26 free shots (84.6 percent) during the game. ratiopharm Ulm forced 19 Brescia turnovers. It was a great evening for American-German center Dylan Osetkowski (206-96, college: Texas) who led his team to a victory scoring 32 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his ten free throws !!!). American guard John Petrucelli (193-92, college: Molloy) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Canadian point guard Kenny Chery (180-92, college: Baylor) responded with 15 points and 5 assists and American-Israeli TJ Cline (206-94, college: Richmond) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Four Brescia players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. ratiopharm Ulm moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Mornar Bar. Brescia lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with five games lost. ratiopharm Ulm will face league's second-placed Levallois on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Brescia will play against Buducnost (#3) and hope to win that game.
