Regular Season Round 9: Venezia - Bourg 76-86

Rather predictable result when second ranked French JL Bourg (5-3) won against on the road 5th ranked Italian Umana Venezia (2-6) 86-76 on Thursday. The game was mostly controlled by JL Bourg. Umana Venezia was better in third quarter 26-24. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. JL Bourg forced 19 Umana Venezia turnovers. It was a good game for Serbian guard Danilo Andjusic (194-91) who led his team to a victory with 27 points. Umana Venezia will play on the road against Acibadem in Istanbul and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
