Regular Season Round 9: Andorra - Lokomotiv 100-106

An interesting game for Russian Lokomotiv (7-2) which played road game in Andorra against 4th placed Spanish Andorra (2-4). Second ranked Lokomotiv managed to get a 6-point victory 106-100. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 106-100. Lokomotiv dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Andorra's 42. It was a good game for American forward Kevin Hervey (206-96, college: UT Arlington) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jordan Crawford (193-88, college: Xavier) contributed with 23 points for the winners. American-Senegalese guard Clevin Hannah (179-87, college: Wichita St., agency: BeoBasket) answered with 18 points and 5 assists and Icelandic guard Haukur Palsson (197-92, college: Maryland) added 21 points in the effort for Andorra. Four Lokomotiv and five Andorra players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Lokomotiv keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Unicaja and Gran Canaria. Loser Andorra keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Lokomotiv will face Monaco (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Andorra will play against Lietkabelis in Panevezys and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
