Regular Season Round 11: Promitheas - Bursaspor 75-100
Date: December 29, 2020
The biggest surprise of round 11 was Turkish guest Bursaspor's (#5) easy road victory over Greek Promitheas (#6) 100-75 on Tuesday evening. The game without a history. Bursaspor led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was Cameroonian forward Kenny Kadji (211-88, college: Miami, FL, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points and 14 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American point guard Lamar Peters (183-98, college: MSU) chipped in 25 points and 8 assists. Guard Michalis Lountzis (195-95, agency: Network Sports International) produced 16 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Ian Miller (190-91, college: FSU) added 16 points respectively for the hosts. Four Promitheas players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bursaspor have a solid series of three victories in a row. Newly promoted Bursaspor maintains fifth place with 3-7 record which they share with defeated Promitheas. Promitheas lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with eight games lost. They share it with 4 other teams.
