Regular Season Round 1: Valencia - Hema SKW 82-42
Date: January 19, 2021
Valencia used a home court advantage and outscored the opponent from Sint Katelijne 82-42 on Tuesday night. Valencia forced 23 Hema SKW turnovers. Quite impressive performance for Australian guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 steals. American-Belgian center Celeste Trahan-Davis (186-85, college: ECSU, agency: LBM Management) contributed with 13 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Center Billie Massey (184-0) answered with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds and Belgian Becky Massey (186-0) added 12 points in the effort for Hema SKW. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Valencia will face Castors Braine on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hema SKW will play against Hainaut and hope to win that game.
