Regular Season Round 1: Atomeromu - Prometey 106-80

Hungarian Atomeromu smashed Ukrainian Prometey in Szekszard 106-80. Atomeromu dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Prometey's 42. Atomeromu forced 23 Prometey turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian-Hungarian center Sara Krnjic (191-91) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Agnes Studer (170-98, agency: Wasserman) contributed with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Atomeromu's coach felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American forward KeShunan James (184-94, college: Murray St.) answered with 21 points and 4 assists and the other American import Bernice Mosby (186-84, college: Baylor) added 19 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Prometey. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Prometey will play next round against strong Uni Gyor trying to get back on the winning streak. Atomeromu will try to continue on its current victory against Kayseri on the road.
