Regular Season Round 2: Castors Braine - Valencia 47-78

The game between closely ranked teams ended with Spanish Valencia's road victory over Belgian Castors Braine 78-47 on Wednesday. Valencia looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Castors Braine's players. Australian guard Rebecca Allen (188-92, agency: LBM Management) scored 21 points to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Queralt Casas (177-92) chipped in 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Latvian forward Kate Karlina Kreslina (184-96, college: Fordham, agency: LBM Management) responded with 14 points and Brazilian center Erika De Souza (197-82) scored 10 points and 7 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Valencia will face Hainaut in Saint-Amand in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Castors Braine will play at home against Hema SKW and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
