Regular Season Round 1: Hatay - Enisey 100-76

First defeat of Russian Enisey Krasnoyarsk against Turkish Hatay 100-76 was the most important game of the last round. Hatay made 26-of-30 free shots (86.7 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Enisey Krasnoyarsk helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Kalani Brown (201-97, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 37 points (!!!) and 7 rebounds. Her fellow American import point guard Aaryn Ellenberg-Wiley (167-92, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 30 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Four Hatay players scored in double figures. Belgian point guard Julie Vanloo (172-93) answered with 15 points and 4 assists and center Sofya Kornyenko (188-98) added 13 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Enisey Krasnoyarsk. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Enisey Krasnoyarsk will play next round against strong Panathinaikos trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Hatay will try to continue on its current victory against Polkowice on the road.
