First defeat of league's leader Montenegrin Buducnost (3-1) against seventh ranked Italian Venezia (2-2) 72-67 was the most important game of the last round. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Buducnost. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 21-15 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Dominican center Mitchell Watt (208-89, college: Buffalo, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 25 points and 7 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). Stefano Tonut (194-93) contributed with 10 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American DJ Seeley (193-89, college: CS Fullerton) replied with 18 points (made all of his seven free throws) and Croatian-Serbian Marko Jagodic-Kuridza (205-87, agency: BeoBasket) added 9 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Buducnost. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Venezia maintains seventh position in Group B with 2-2 record, which they share with Cedevita Ol. Defending Montenegrin champion Buducnost dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Lokomotiv. Buducnost will play next round against Cedevita Ol. trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Venezia will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Virtus BO in Bologna.
