Regular Season Round 4: Andorra - Partizan NiS 61-60
Date: November 10, 2021
Serbian Partizan NiS (3-1) recorded its first loss on the court of fifth ranked Spanish Andorra on Wednesday night. Visitors were edged by Andorra 61-60. The hosts trailed by 8 points at the halftime before their 24-8 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Andorra made 9 blocks. The winners were led by American point guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-94, college: Wake Forest) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds and center Victor Arteaga (212-92) supported him with 15 points and 4 blocks. Four Andorra players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds by American power forward Zach LeDay (202-94, college: Virginia Tech) did not help to save the game for Partizan NiS. Guard Aleksa Avramovic (192-94, agency: BeoBasket) added 8 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Andorra have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group A, which they share with Joventut. Andorra will meet Joventut (#4) in the next round. Partizan NiS will play against Lietkabelis and hope to secure a win.
