Regular Season Round 5: Turk Telekom - Lokomotiv 88-85

Round 5 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Russian Lokomotiv (4-1). They were edged by fifth ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (3-2) 88-85 on Tuesday night. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Lokomotiv. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning first half. But Lokomotiv won third quarter 21-19. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Turk Telekom moved-up to fourth place in Group A, which they share with Andorra and Levallois. Lokomotiv at the other side dropped to the second position with one game lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Partizan NiS who have the same record. Lokomotiv will play next round against Trento trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Turk Telekom will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Andorra on the road.
