There was no surprise when 3rd ranked British Lions (2-4) were edged on the road by first ranked Belgian Castors Braine (5-1) 70-67 on Wednesday. Castors Braine had a 32-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Canadian-Austrian guard Aislinn Konig (178-98, college: NC State, agency: LBM Management) scored 18 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Ukrainian center Valeriya Berezhynska (193-86, college: Rice) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Castors Braine's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game.
