Regular Season Round 11: Turk Telekom - Partizan NiS 85-71

Round 11 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Serbian Partizan NiS (8-3). They were defeated by seventh ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (6-5) 85-71 on Tuesday night. The game without a history. Turk Telekom led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot 62.3 percent from the field. Turk Telekom looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for American-Kazakhstan point guard Anthony Clemmons (187-94, college: Iowa, agency: Inception Sports) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 8 assists (perfect from the field making all six shots). American JaJuan Johnson (208-89, college: Purdue) helped adding 15 points. French center Mathias Lessort (206-95, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and American-Serbian Kevin Punter (192-93, college: Tennessee) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Five Partizan NiS players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Turk Telekom moved-up to fifth place in Group A, which they share with Levallois. Partizan NiS at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with Lokomotiv. They were replaced at the leadership position by Joventut. Partizan NiS will play next round against league's leader Joventut trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Turk Telekom will try to continue on its current victory against ninth ranked WKS Slask in Wroclaw.
