Regular Season Round 12: Promitheas - Bourg 84-77

There was a small surprise in Patras where tenth ranked Greek Promitheas (3-8) beat 7th ranked French JL Bourg (4-8) 84-77 on Wednesday. The game without a history. Promitheas led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Dimitris Agravanis (208-94, agency: Octagon Europe) who helped to win the game recording 17 points and 8 rebounds and American power forward Dario Hunt (204-89, college: Nevada) who added 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Promitheas players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American center JaCorey Williams (203-94, college: MTSU, agency: Shark Sports Management) with 25 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Nigerian-American guard Rasheed Sulaimon (193-94, college: Maryland) scored 15 points. Promitheas maintains tenth position in Group B with 3-8 record. Loser JL Bourg dropped to the eighth place with eight games lost. Promitheas will meet higher ranked Bursaspor (#9) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. JL Bourg will play against the league's leader Gran Canaria where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
