Regular Season Round 12: Andorra - Hamburg 78-85

There was an upset when higher ranked Spanish Andorra (6-5) was defeated at home by eighth ranked German Hamburg Towers (5-7) 85-78 on Wednesday. Andorra was trailing by 2 points at halftime but managed to get 1-point lead after three quarters before a 24-16 charge of Hamburg Towers, which allowed them to win the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Jaylon Brown (183-94, college: Evansville) who helped to win the game recording 32 points and 6 assists and Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (211-96, college: S.Carolina) who added 20 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was American Drew Crawford (196-90, college: Northwestern, agency: Octagon Europe) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-94, college: Wake Forest) scored 15 points and 8 assists. Hamburg Towers maintains eighth position in Group A with 5-7 record. Loser Andorra dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. Hamburg Towers will meet at home higher ranked Lietkabelis (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Andorra will play against Partizan NiS in Beograd and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
