Regular Season Round 15: Partizan NiS - Levallois 87-72

An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Belgrade. Second ranked Serbian Partizan NiS faced 3rd placed French Metropolitans. Host Partizan NiS (10-5) defeated guests from Levallois (9-6) 87-72. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Metropolitans. They outrebounded Metropolitans 41-23 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Balsa Koprivica (215-2000, college: FSU) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 13 rebounds. American-Serbian Kevin Punter (192-1993, college: Tennessee) contributed with 13 points for the winners. Partizan NiS's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) answered with 18 points and 5 assists and Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-1991, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 12 points and 4 assists in the effort for Metropolitans. Partizan NiS maintains second place in Group A with 10-5 record having just two points less than leader Joventut. Metropolitans at the other side keep the third position with six games lost. They share it with Andorra. Partizan NiS will play against bottom-ranked WKS Slask (#9) in Wroclaw in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Metropolitans will play at home against the league's leader Joventut (#1) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
