Regular Season Round 15: Turk Telekom - Andorra 76-83

There was no surprise in Ankara where 7th ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (6-8) was defeated by fifth ranked Spanish Andorra (9-6) 83-76 on Wednesday. It was a great evening for American point guard Codi Miller-McIntyre (191-1994, college: Wake Forest) who led his team to a victory scoring 12 points and 7 assists. Center Victor Arteaga (212-1992) helped adding 13 points and 7 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American JaJuan Johnson (208-1989, college: Purdue) with 21 points and 9 rebounds (went 11 for 11 at the free throw line !!!) and Mexican point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-1993, agency: Pro Sports) scored 18 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Andorra have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to third place in Group A, which they share with Levallois. Turk Telekom lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. They share it with Hamburg. Andorra will meet Lietkabelis (#6) in the next round. Turk Telekom will play against Trento and hope to secure a win.
