Important game to mention about took place in Bursa. Eighth ranked Turkish Bursaspor (7-9) saved a 3-point victory at home edging much higher ranked Spanish Valencia (11-5) 92-89 on Wednesday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Valencia. Bursaspor made 20-of-22 charity shots (90.9 percent) during the game. Valencia was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American David Dudzinski (205-1992, college: Holy Cross, agency: Inception Sports) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-11 shooting from the field) and the other American import Andrew Andrews (188-1993, college: Washington) who added 23 points during the contest. At the losing side Xabier Lopez-Arostegui (200-1997) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and Slovenian Klemen Prepelic (191-1992) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Four Valencia players scored in double figures. Valencia's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Bursaspor have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ulm and Venezia. Valencia at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost. They share it with Partizan NiS. Bursaspor will play against ratiopharm Ulm (#7) on the road in the next round. Valencia will play against Cedevita Ol. (#4) in Ljubljana and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
