Regular Season Round 18: Promitheas - Cedevita Ol. 67-88

There was no surprise in Patras where 10th ranked Greek Promitheas (4-14) were crushed by fourth ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (11-7) 88-67 on Wednesday. Cedevita Ol. outrebounded Promitheas 41-27 including 30 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Georgian-American point guard Jacob Pullen (183-1989, college: Kansas St.) scored 19 points and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Serbian power forward Marko Radovanovic (209-1996) chipped in 15 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Dimitris Agravanis (208-1994, agency: Octagon Europe) with 16 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Athanasios Bazinas (194-2003) scored 11 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cedevita Ol. have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Despite that victory Cedevita Ol. went down to thirteenth position due to points difference, which they share with Virtus BO. Promitheas lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 14 games lost.
