The game between closely ranked teams ended with 8th ranked German Hamburg Towers' (6-10) road loss to seventh ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (8-8) 70-95 on Wednesday. Turk Telekom dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Hamburg Towers' 20 and made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Mexican point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-1993, agency: Pro Sports) scored 17 points and 7 assists (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the charge for the winners and American-Kazakhstan point guard Anthony Clemmons (187-1994, college: Iowa, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 11 points and 5 assists during the contest. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Trevon Bluiett (198-1994, college: Xavier) with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and Estonian center Maik-Kalev Kotsar (211-1996, college: S.Carolina) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Turk Telekom have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Loser Hamburg Towers keep the eighth position with ten games lost.
