Regular Season Round 4: Slask - Turk Telekom 71-75

No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Turkish Turk Telekom (3-1) beat bottom-ranked Polish WKS Slask (0-4) in Wroclaw 75-71 on Tuesday. The winners were led by American guard Jerian Grant (196-1992, college: Notre Dame) who scored that evening 15 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and the other American import power forward Tyrique Jones (206-1997, college: Xavier, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 12 points and 8 rebounds. Four Turk Telekom players scored in double figures. Turk Telekom's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists by forward Jakub Niziol (201-1996, college: Cal Poly) did not help to save the game for WKS Slask. American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) added 17 points, 5 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Turk Telekom have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Defending Polish champion WKS Slask still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Trento and Cedevita Ol.. Turk Telekom will meet at home Trento (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
