Regular Season Round 7: Slask - Paris 69-77
Date: December 7, 2022
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked French Paris (5-2) beat bottom-ranked Polish WKS Slask (0-7) in Wroclaw 77-69 on Wednesday. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Kyle Allman (190-1997, college: CS Fullerton) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 6 assists. Bosnian swingman Amar Gegic (200-1998, agency: Octagon Europe) accounted for 17 points and 6 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Paris players scored in double figures. Irish-Canadian Conor Morgan (206-1994, college: UBC, agency: BeoBasket) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Kodi Justice (199-1995, college: Arizona St.) added 8 points and 6 assists respectively for WKS Slask in the defeat. WKS Slask's coach let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Paris have a solid series of three victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Defending Polish champion WKS Slask still closes the standings with seven games lost. Paris will meet at home Promitheas (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. WKS Slask will play against Hapoel Tel-Aviv (#8) in Tel Aviv and hopes to get finally their first victory.
