Rather expected game in Tel Aviv where bottom-ranked Polish WKS Slask (0-8) was crushed by eighth ranked Israeli Hapoel Tel-Aviv (4-4) 103-73 on Tuesday. Hapoel Tel-Aviv shot 65.6 percent from the field. Hapoel Tel-Aviv had a 26-15 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great shooting night for Hapoel Tel-Aviv especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 55.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 17 passes made by WKS Slask's players. The best player for the winners was American swingman Jordan McRae (197-1991, college: Tennessee) who scored 15 points and 7 assists. The other American import center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville, agency: MSG) chipped in 8 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bosnian-Croatian Ivan Ramljak (203-1990, agency: PEPI SPORT) produced 14 points and 5 rebounds and American point guard Jeremiah Martin (189-1996, college: Memphis) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Hapoel Tel-Aviv moved-up to fifth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Defending Polish champion WKS Slask still closes the standings with eight games lost. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will meet Promitheas (#5) in the next round. WKS Slask will play against Trento (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
