Regular Season Round 9: Bourg - Cedevita Ol. 90-91

Top ranked French JL Bourg (6-3) recorded its third loss at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by tenth ranked Slovenian Cedevita Ol. (2-7) 91-90. The best player for the winners was American guard Josh Adams (188-1993, college: Wyoming) who scored 26 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. His fellow American import point guard Yogi Ferrell (183-1993, college: Indiana) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was power forward Pierre Pelos (205-1992) who recorded 22 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and American point guard Jordan Floyd (188-1997, college: King) added 22 points (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) respectively. Four JL Bourg players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Defending Slovenian champion moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Trento. JL Bourg at the other side still keeps top position with three games lost. They share it with Joventut and Paris. Cedevita Ol. is looking forward to face higher ranked Bursaspor (#6) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. JL Bourg will play against Cluj Napoca (#9) and is hoping to win this game.
