Regular Season Round 11: H.Tel-Aviv - Paris 95-79

Very important is a road loss of second ranked French Paris (7-4) against fifth ranked Israeli Hapoel Tel-Aviv (7-4) on Wednesday night. Visiting Paris were defeated by Hapoel Tel-Aviv in Tel Aviv 95-79. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Paris. Hapoel Tel-Aviv players were unselfish on offense dishing 32 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Paris' players. It was an exceptional evening for American guard JCovan Brown (188-1990, college: Texas) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 8 rebounds and 16 assists. His fellow American import center Chinanu Onuaku (207-1996, college: Louisville, agency: MSG) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Five Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Center Ismael Kamagate (211-2001) came up with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and American guard Tyrone Wallace (196-1994, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively for Paris in the defeat. Hapoel Tel-Aviv have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Paris. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against league's second-placed Turk Telekom in Ankara in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Paris will play at home against Trento and hope to get back on the winning track.
