Regular Season Round 11: Buducnost - Slask 82-71

Everything went according to plan in Podgorica where fourth ranked Montenegrin Buducnost (7-4) beat 10th ranked Polish WKS Slask (1-10) 82-71 on Wednesday. Buducnost dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to WKS Slask's 28. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Trae Bell-Haynes (188-1995, college: Vermont, agency: BeoBasket) who scored 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. French-Guinean center Alpha Kaba (208-1996) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds. Five Buducnost players scored in double figures. Point guard Lukasz Kolenda (195-1999, agency: BeoBasket) produced 23 points and 4 assists and power forward Aleksander Dziewa (205-1997) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Defending Montenegrin champion moved-up to second place, which they share with 4 other teams. Defending Polish champion WKS Slask keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Buducnost will meet Promitheas (#6) in the next round. WKS Slask will play against Hamburg Towers (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
